Christopher Rodgers, Ph.D. is currently a full-time assistant professor and an adjunct professor at colleges in Michigan and Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. He also earned a master’s degree in mass communications and a doctorate in Management in Organizational Leadership. His research focused on the influence of professional development and mentoring on novice teacher attrition. He holds graduate certificates in Management Consulting and Leadership in Higher Education.

LaToya Y. Daniels, M.A., Literature Content Expert and Highly Qualified Educator

LaToya Y. Daniels currently teaches African American Literature, and Literature Through Film. She earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy in 2019 and has been named on the Michigan Chronicles top 10 “Best in Black” Teacher of the Year list for two consecutive years (2016-2017, 2017-2018).

She graduated Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Language Arts, Literature and Writing, Communication and Theater Arts. She landed her first teaching job with the Ann Arbor School District in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2010. She is the founder and visionary of TEACHME313 Instructional Services that provides tutoring services for K-12 students.
